About Me...
I was born in Sacramento, California September 9, 19xx. My parents are Michael and Suzie Hahn and they live in Southern California. My dad is a pastor and my mom is a mom. I have a younger brother Andrew who works as a 5th grade public school teacher in inner-city Los Angeles.
Most of my life, I attended and served at Arcade Church in Sacramento, California. I was also on staff there for almost 13 years as a Communications Director. I grew up my entire life in Northern California till June 20, 2004 when I moved to Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I took the call to work at Grace Church as a Project Manager. I do various projects for the Senior Pastor, Dr. Daniel Henderson , and the leaderhship of the church.
I acceped Christ at a young age at my home church, Arcade Church. I was invovled in the Pioneer Girls program at church and asked Jesus into my heart when I heard the message loud and clear. My faith really did not become my own till high school where I was challenged to be a leader. It was there the Lord put in my heart about ministry.
I went to the University of California, Davis where I was challenged to really examine my faith and to do something about it. I learned how to share my the most important relationship, Jesus Christ, and disciple new believers. I was very involved at First Baptist Church, Davis in college ministry and discipling college women. I gradauted June 1989.
After college I went to work for a commerical real estate company for a number of years. I was volunteering with college students at Arcade Church. That is where I heard the call to full-time ministry and also started taking classes at Western Seminary. I interned for a couple fo years and then went on full-time staff in various positions: Women's Ministry director, Volunteer Coordinator, College Staff, Database Coordinator, and Communciations Director. I loved my almost 13 years there and it was the greatest training in ministry.
June of 2004 I took the call to work at Grace Church in Eden Prarie, Minnesota. I didn't want to go but the Lord made it clear through circumstances, friends, and the prompting of the Holy Spirit to take a step of faith and go. It has been a very hard transition but the Lord has shown me so much about trusting Him, relying on His Word, and what can be learned about God's character through trials. I have no regrets being here because I have made friends and Grace Church is my new home.
In August 2007 I just got back from a missions trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil taking 25 people to work with Restoration Ministries. This ministry works with the street kids of Sao Paulo. I received a call From Dr. Vernon Brewer, the president and founder of World Help. This is a Christian humaniatarian organization that works in countries all over the world. I felt the calling of the Lord to serve there. I moved the end of September and started work October 1, 2007.
